The gonality of complete intersection curves. (arXiv:1706.08169v1 [math.AG])

We show that for a general complete intersection curve $C$ in projective
space (other than a few exceptions), any branched covering $C \to \mathbb{P}^1$
of minimum degree is obtained by projection from a linear space. We also prove
a special case of one of the well-known Cayley-Bacharach conjectures due to
